Welcome to the 'Nine on Line' website, designed to complement the ceramics exhibition at the Glasgow School of Art's Atrium Gallery from 4th - 14th September 2007, and to introduce the artists involved.

The contributors to the exhibition are all mature students from the part-time, distance learning BA(Hons) Design Ceramics Programme at the Glasgow School of Art. Our backgrounds and experience are both culturally and geographically diverse, but the exhibited work is connected by the concept of line and visually by a blue line.

Line is one of the fundamental elements of visual communication and being on-line is our main method of communication during the course, so this is a particularly suitable theme for this joint exhibition.
